Paul H. Sizemore Park
Located on State Route 65, about a quarter mile Northwest of downtown Delbarton, the park began on land at the North end of the former James E. Blevins Football Field, the longtime home of the Burch High and Middle School football teams.
In 1986, Blevins Field was purchased by the Delbarton Kiwanis Club with the plan to transform the field into a baseball and softball park that would provide facilities for the Delbarton Babe Ruth Baseball League and Burch High School Girls Softball team. The old football bleachers were torn down and graded. The field is green with grass now and despite a few setbacks, like a flood in September of 2009, the project will continue to be developed.
W.H. Compton Memorial Park
Located on State Route 65, about a mile and a half Northwest of downtown Delbarton, between Elk Creek Bridge and Millstone Bridge, the Rev. W. H. Compton Memorial Park has a paved walking track, which is lit and protected by a fence, whether you are interested in exercising for your health, or just like to walk for recreation.
